The Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival at Ashton Gardens in Lehi celebrated its 28th year this season.
The 50-acre gardens boast nearly 1 million blooms this year including daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, poppies and more, according to Thanksgiving Point’s website

“This year, the Tulip Festival will have the biggest blooms ever, with nearly 100,000 more tulips and other flowers,” the website states.
The festival features an array of family friendly activities including live entertainment, floral decor, interactive classes, VIP garden tours and more.
Guests can purchase general admission tickets or Thanksgiving Point membership which grants discounted entry and free admission on Saturdays.
Sarah Brown, a guest attending the festival and a mother of small children, shared her appreciation of the festival's family-friendly environment.
“The daffodils are my favorite,” she said. “And my kids really like all the little interactive things, so the little mushroom drums and all of the colored lanterns are fun. And then ice cream at the end.”
The amphitheater, a central point in the gardens, features a waterfall, a bouncy slide for kids and several different food and gift booths.
Judy Rollins also attended the Tulip Festival with her family. Their membership at Thanksgiving Point allowed them access to the great variety of flowers blooming in the gardens throughout the year.
“We're (members), and we like to come as a family,” Rollins said. “We like to come several times to see the daffodils and the early tulips ... And even into the summer, the zinnias and the roses are so pretty .... It's very meditative.”
The Tulip Festival started on Apr. 9 and will be open to visitors until May 17.
