Every year, Sundance Mountain Resort puts on its “Halloween Lift Ride."
Hundreds of people attend each night. Thousands came this past weekend, and thousands more are expected this weekend.
Outdoor movies, swag and campfires are all on display before visitors get to the lift.
“You walk up to the left and take a seat. We have different actors and characters who are at the starting point and at the top of the lift,” Paul Barger, Sundance Mountain Resort marketing manager said.
The lift includes various kinds of scenes on the way up, such as talking pumpkins, a spooky graveyard and a pirate ship, Barger said.
After returning to the ground, Sundance welcomes riders with Halloween-themed treats.
“One of my favorite things that our pastry team came up with is a brain cupcake,” Barger said.
The Halloween Lift Ride has been a longstanding tradition for years and it will likely continue for many years to come.
