JKR Gallery’s only religious art show of the year, "God's Grace," opened on Dec. 6 and features original art with religious or spiritual themes from over 20 local artists, according to the JKR Gallery website.
JKR Gallery is located on 1675 N Freedom Blvd Suite 6B in Provo. The showcase will run through the Dec. 28.
The exhibit features pieces such as "Grace in the Fall," a 24-by-36-inch oil painting by Jenedy Paige.

The artist, Jenedy Paige, was inspired by Hebrews 4:16
“I see the turning of the seasons as a beautiful symbol of renewal," Paige said. "Fall is my favorite season, and isn’t it interesting that the colors and beauty of the world become so intense right before everything seems to die?"
Paige described how the changing seasons reflect hope made possible by Jesus Christ.
"If you had never known spring before, you might think that all was lost. Yet, the snow will melt and new life will rise. Even so, Christ’s grace makes it possible for our personal winters to turn into spring," she said.
Robert Kingsford, a UVU student, visited the exhibit. He said his favorite piece was "The Planted Foot and the Searching Foot" by Carly White, a 24-by-30-inch acrylic piece.

White compared the spiritual compass to finding truth for one’s self.
“What I got out of it is that you want to branch out that second circle — the searching foot — as far as possible to find the truth,” Kingsford said.
The exhibition pieces, featuring a variety of mediums and themes concerning God and religion, are available for purchase online and at the gallery.
