Peak Nights Country Swing Dancing invites newcomers

Peak Nights Country Swing Dancing invites newcomers

On Thursday nights, people can find themselves in the "peak" of the action at Peak Nights Country Swing Dancing.

Boots, laughs and dancing. If this meets the criteria for a good time, then that is the right place.

Peak Nights Country Swing Dancing is the new local buzz in the Provo dancing scene. From line dancing to couple connections, the dance club might just satisfy that craving.

“I got into it with a buddy of mine. We had a bet on who could get the most numbers in a night and that’s when I started country swing dancing and I fell in love,” dance instructor Christian Mahler said.

People might be nervous that they won’t like the music. But they don’t need to sweat it. The dance club has a request board for the songs people love most.

“That’s one of the perks of working here, is you kind of get a say of what songs you dance to,” dance instructor Autumn Redd said.

Dancing to fan favorite songs at Peak Nights could be the final piece of the puzzle to build the ultimate friendship. Even better, people don’t have to take time out of their weekend to go because it is on Thursday nights.

The dance club could be an end-of-the-week refresher to stay on track, especially for students.

Whether people are dancers or newcomers, Mahler said that Peak Nights is perfect for everyone. It could also be the perfect date.

If someone is looking for a good time, the biggest problem at Peak Nights might be asking who, of everybody, to dance with.
