New Young Men general presidency announced

A new Young Men general presidency was announced in the Saturday morning session of the 195th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 5.

The new presidency will consist of President Timothy L. Farnes, general president, Brother David J. Wunderli, first counselor and Brother Sean R. Dixon, second counselor.

They will begin their service on August 1, 2025.

The Young Men organization “promotes faith, growth, and development in young men through Sunday instruction, weekday service and activities, and annual camps and conferences,” the Church’s website shared.

President Timothy L. Farnes is from Bountiful, Utah and has served in many church callings. He currently serves as an Area Seventy in the Utah Area.

Brother David J. Wunderli will serve as first counselor and is from Alpine, Utah. He currently serves on the Young Men general advisory council.

Brother Sean R. Dixon, who will serve as second counselor in the Young Men's general presidency, currently serves as the president of the Spanish Fork East Stake.

The current presidency includes President Steven J. Lund, first counselor Brother Bradley R. Wilcox and second counselor Brother Michael T. Nelson.
