Fijian members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah are excited to have a new ward where they can worship in the Fijian language.
The first Fijian ward in Utah was established last February. Ward members shared their experiences being a part of this historic event.
Ward members gathered to celebrate 70 years of the establishment of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fiji on April 4.
Church leaders and members shared stories of faith and the growth of the Church in the country.

She said she gets to witness children learn not just the gospel, but also about their ancestors.
Bishop Victor Narsimulu said finding out that the Church of Jesus Christ was establishing a Fijian ward was a deeply spiritual experience.
The theme of the Fijian ward is "come as you are". Narsimulu said when the youth come to this ward, it is a place where they celebrate their identity as a child of God.
Ward chorister Kuini Radrodro said she loves seeing the chapel filled to capacity every Sunday and looks forward to coming to church to meet new people.
