According to Constitutional law, every 10 years, a nationwide census is taken to determine how many people are currently living in the United States. While the census is a familiar tradition in many American lives and a landmark designating another completed decade, few people are aware of the accompanying redistricting process.

The first thing someone sees when they walk through the doors ofThe Boardwalkis the wall. Names and messages written in various colors cover the white paint. Past the wall and down the stairs is a small stage featuring a single wooden stool and a guitar.

Today marks President Russell M. Nelson’s 97th birthday, tying him with former President Gordon B. Hinckley as the longest living prophet in the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
