BYU donates blankets to Provo warming center

BYU Sustainability teamed up with BYU Laundry to donate BYU blankets to one of Provo’s three warming centers.

Provo's warming centers help people who are homeless stay warm throughout the cold months in Utah. Sign up to volunteer at the center through this link.

Additional blankets were donated by Kim and Tom Money, and Tom Painter with his National Day of Service Foundation.

BYU Alumni continues Cougs Care tailgate tradition

2024 is the third year of Cougs Care pregame tailgates featuring service projects for local nonprofits hosted by BYU Alumni.

BYU fans donated more than 2,000 pounds of food at the BYU vs. UCF tailgate in Florida on Oct. 26. The food was donated to the UCF Knights Pantry for students in need.

There will be two more tailgates this season at the BYU vs. Utah game and the BYU vs. Arizona State game where they will be accepting more nonperishable foods for donation.

BYU to host Halloween party on campus

BYU is hosting "Fright Lights," a Halloween party on Oct. 31 from 8:30-11 p.m. at JFSB Quad. There will be dancing, treats, games and costumes.

BYU asks that all attendees follow the honor code. Full masks and projectiles are not allowed.
