BYU Young Ambassadors inspire audiences with 'Imagine'

BYU Young Ambassadors inspire audiences with "Imagine"

For 55 years, the BYU Young Ambassadors have showcased their talents across the globe, performing in more than 70 countries. Their latest show, "Imagine," recently took the stage at BYU, highlighting the power of creativity at any age.

The 20-member ensemble, composed of hand-picked singers and dancers, played a key role in choreographing and composing much of the production under the guidance of their directors.

“It’s so interesting because being in a show and also choreographing and directing your own numbers is very difficult,” performer Dakota Clement said.

Beyond the stage, the Young Ambassadors emphasize connection. After each performance, they meet with audience members, fostering personal interactions that reflect the group’s mission.

“It’s in the name, right? We are Young Ambassadors, and I think what we are ambassadors of is the light and love of Christ,” performer Curtis Allen said.

The performers have also forged close bonds within the group.

“This is the actor in me that says it’s like a different world to connect with your cast members through song or dance. It feels like you’re part of something magical,” Clement added.

After touring through Utah and California, the Young Ambassadors brought "Imagine" to BYU for a three-day, four-show run.

“I love it. I love it so much,” Clement said.

“It feels electric. It’s cool to be able to trust people,” Allen added.

Next, the group will take "Imagine" to Brazil in April, continuing their legacy of performance and connection on an international stage.
