BYU students celebrated Pi Day on March 14.
Students in the Talmage Building centered their celebrations around the number Pi and Albert Einstein's birthday, which falls on the same day.
Students celebrated by playing games, buying t-shirts and eating pie.
Students in the Wilkinson Student Center joined in on the fun.
Barrett Watson, a student at BYU, said he loves pie but doesn't celebrate Pi Day on his own.
“I go to Walmart anytime and buy pie and I love it, but I never actually celebrate Pi Day,” Watson said.
The BYU Office of Belonging hosted their annual Pi Day event.
Students made their way through a number of booths focused on helping students learn about how to improve their wellbeing.
At the end of the line, students who had successfully visited and interacted with each booth made it to their final destination, the pie table.
“Honestly I came for the pie but the booth was great," Elijah Brunel, a BYU student, said. "I got lots of stuff ... but I learned about a lot of cool things on campus that I did not know about.”
The Office of Belonging broke out the big guns for Pi Day with a variety of pies. The pies included, pumpkin, peach, peanut butter cream and more.
