Scripps Institution of Oceanography conducted an experiment to measure the effects of small freshwater outflows on surf zones at Torrey Pines State Beach in California on Jan 20.
This USCD study was orchestrated by placing pink non-toxic dye into small freshwater plumes to watch the processes that take place as it enters into the ocean.
