The Utah Division of Motor Vehicles has experienced a shortage of vehicle registration tags.
The DMV lacks the materials used to manufacture the annual decal sticker because of supply chain issues overseas.
Utah’s State Tax Commission is sending letters to all registered vehicle owners notifying them that their registration is still current in motor vehicle and law enforcement databases. Decals will be mailed to registered Utahns as soon as they become available.
