Meet Tony Brown! Brown is a professor in the Department of German and Russian.
When Brown came to BYU, he began developing a study abroad experience that would incorporate language into students’ future careers. Since 2007, the program has expanded from an excursion in Moscow to a dozen internships in Russia and the Baltic States. Most Russian majors are double majors, and the internship program has given hundreds of students the chance to work abroad in their desired field.
