Provo City Council members George Handley and Shannon Ellsworth will visit the BYU campus Tuesday, Nov. 9 to connect with students on important city issues.
Such issues include a potential program for paid street parking. This program would require students to pay for a yearly permit or pay using a parking meter.
George Handley represents Provo District 2 and was elected in 2017. He is also a BYU humanities professor. Shannon Ellsworth represents District 3 and has served Provo since 2019. A map with each representatives’ district can be found online.
Students can meet both Handley and Ellsworth on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. in Room 238 at the Herald R. Clark Building.
