Idaho's newest temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was dedicated yesterday.

President M. Russell Ballard, acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve, presided at the dedication of the Pocatello, Idaho Temple in three sessions.

Assistant Executive Director of the temple department Gary B. Sabin and his wife Valerie joined President Ballard in the cornerstone ceremony.

More than 250,000 people of many faiths attended the public open house for the temple in September and October.

The Pocatello, Idaho Temple is the sixth temple in Idaho and the 170th operating temple in the Church. Two other Idaho temples have been announced in Burley and Rexburg.
