Criminal Mischief

Oct. 17 — Two parked, unoccupied police cars were egged near the life science building. There is no suspect information at this time.

Oct. 17 — A report was made regarding a car muffler that was cut. The incident took place sometime before Oct. 10, possibly near Helaman Halls.

Stalking

Oct. 17 — BYU Police were notified about a stalking case. The victim reported increased harassment over the past couple of weeks, including receiving continued texts and emails about the relationship despite being asked to stop contact. The officers contacted the accused individual and made clear the consequences of continued harassment.

Suspicious

Oct. 18 — Officers responded to a report of broken glass on the Dining Services loading dock. The glass was found to be unrelated to any crime.

Traffic Accident

Oct. 18 — A delayed hit and run in Lot 39 was reported.

Burglary

Oct. 16 — Commercial burglary reported near 500 N 400 East.

Theft

Oct. 16 — Property theft reported near 500 W 920 South.
Oct. 16 — Property theft reported near 1600 N Willowbrook Drive.
