There is now a dedicated site for travelers who need to get tested for COVID-19 before leaving on a trip.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for Utahns who are traveling to get those tests before they leave,” Gov. Spencer Cox announced.

The new “test to travel” program will allow travelers to get test results quickly before going out of town. The COVID-19 testing site at the Cannon Health Building in Salt Lake City will now have a dedicated lane where travelers can take rapid antigen tests, PCR tests and rapid PCR tests.

Many travel destinations are putting heavier restrictions on travelers, and this new program will allow for a rapid turnout to fit within the time requirements.
