Pope publicly acknowledges clergy sexual abuse of nuns

The Catholic Church and the #MeToo Movement collided when a scandal broke that clergy members were sexually abusing nuns. Pope Francis addressed the issue for the first time publically on Tuesday, stating that the church is working to eradicate these issues.

It took firefighters two hours to put out a fire after private construction workers cut a natural gas line. No one was hurt, but several buildings were damaged in the fire.

Spotify takes a big jump into the podcasting game

Spotify took over podcasting companies Gimlet and Anchor on Wednesday as part of a plan to spend $400 to $500 million on acquisitions in 2019. This is an attempt on Spotify’s part to expand their company beyond just music.
