Police Beat: Nov. 25 – Dec. 1

Dec. 3 — A student fell from the fourth floor of the Tanner Building around 9 a.m. on Dec. 3, the BYU Police Department and BYU spokeswoman Carri Jenkins confirmed. Jenkins said the student was transported to Utah Valley Hospital. Updates will be posted here.

Nov. 26 — An individual reported a ROC pass lost, misplaced or stolen from the Smith Fieldhouse.

Nov. 28 — Three people were apprehended after they were found with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 30 — A couple was apprehended after they were found with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Two men were also apprehended after they were found with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Fraud

Nov. 28 — A woman was apprehended for 37 counts of communications fraud.

Theft

Nov. 27 — A homemade, 5-foot Grinch Christmas lawn decoration was stolen from the front of a local home.

Nov. 28 — A stolen 1989 Chevrolet truck was recovered.

Nov. 28 — A shoplifter was apprehended in a local WinCo.

Nov. 28 — Two people were cited after attempting to shoplift from Walmart.

Nov. 28 — A man was cited after shoplifting at Kohl's.

Nov. 30 — A man was apprehended after attempting to shoplift a package of razors from a local grocery store.
