BYU Education Week attendees will have the opportunity to take a virtual tour of Jerusalem this year.

BYU associate professor of ancient scripture Tyler Griffin has three sessions on Monday, Aug. 20, that go through various parts of Jesus' time in Jerusalem.

All of this is made possible through the Virtual Scriptures Group that has created a virtual reality experience to help scriptural students of all ages get a better sense of the geographical importance of events in the scriptures.

For more information on the project over the years, check out stories The Daily Universe has covered on the Virtual Scriptures Group or go to virtualscriptures.org.
