Florida students return to ‘picture of education in fear’

Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School returned to class for the first time since a gunman killed 17 students and faculty members. There was a heavy police presence at the school and students were not allowed to bring backpacks.

Dick’s cuts off sales of assault-style rifles in stores

National retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods has announced they will no longer sell assault-style rifles. They have also announced they will not sell any type of firearm to anyone younger than 21.
