Handlers of Punxsutawney Phil said the groundhog did not see his shadow Friday morning. This means there will be six more weeks of winter, according to tradition.

12-year-old girl booked after accidental LA school shooting

Two 15-year-olds were shot and several others were hurt by falling glass when a 12-year-old girl at Salvador B. Castro Middle School accidentally discharged a gun in her backpack. The girl was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall. No one was killed.
