BYU swimmer named Athlete of the Week

Senior Zerlynn Tiang was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation/Turbo Athlete of the Week following the BYU women's swim meet against Oregon State last weekend.

Tiang was also named conference Swimmer of the Week by CollegeSwimming.com.

Tiang swam a personal best in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:40. She also placed first in the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly, posting times of 57.10 and 2:06.07 respectively. Tiang's performance against Oregon State helped the Cougars secure the victory.

This is the first time this season that Tiang has been named MPSF/Turbo Athlete of the Week and ConferenceSwimmer.com MPSF Swimmer of the Week.
