Bush hits campaign reset; says he's a doer, not a talker

WASHINGTON — GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush is hitting the reset button on his underwhelming campaign. Bush says his message won't change, but his tactics and strategy will.

Bush says he's a doer, not a talker — a jab at rival Marco Rubio, delivered Monday at an event in Florida. Bush served two terms as governor there, and Rubio currently represents Florida in the Senate.

The event's title is 'Jeb Can Fix It,' and it's designed to establish him in the GOP field as a capable problem-solver. Bush says the race is not about personalities; it's about principles. That's a nod to his flat performance in the debate last week in Colorado.

He drew applause from the Tampa Garden Club by saying the contest is 'about leadership.'
