07/20 – Officials received a report of intoxicated individuals at LaVell Edwards Stadium. Officers located the individuals and removed them from the area.
OREM
07/20 – A group of people have been approaching individuals near their vehicles in the parking lots of the mall and other shopping centers. When the group approaches they point out damage on the individual’s vehicle and then offer to repair the vehicle. Whether or not the individual agrees to have their vehicle fixed, the group has been known to fix the vehicle while the individual is in the store. When the individual returns to their vehicle the group then pressures the individual into paying them for the work. Police are encouraging individuals to be aware of the group.
PROVO
07/24 – Friday morning was very busy for the Provo Police Department, as the annual Temple to Temple run/walk took place. Officers blocked off parts of 900 East, Stadium Ave., Canyon Road and 100 East while redirecting traffic. The Provo Police Department kept the roads clear between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m while approximately 12,000 individuals participated in the event.
