Criminal mischief

March 25 - Individuals reported an incident of individuals throwing eggs from a vehicle at the Cannon Center.

Theft

March 25 - An individual reported a Signature card taken and used.

Burglary

March 23 - Police received a call about a suspicious male who was allegedly burglarizing vehicles. Officers arrived and located 28-year-old Brandon Sargent in the area of 600 S. 900 West. Sargent matched the suspect description and was wearing a 'stuffed backpack.' He was also riding a bicycle slowly around several parked cars.

When officers approached Sargent, he fled, discarding multiple items of value as he ran. After a short pursuit, officers caught Sargent and placed him in custody without incident.

Orem

Theft

March 25 - Seven high-priced baseball bats were stolen from a business in Orem. The business is reviewing video surveillance to find out who took them.

Criminal Mischief

March 23 - Police arrested an Orem man after he ran his ex-girlfriend off of the road with his car. No one was injured, and the man was booked into the county jail.
