BYU’s well-known photographer, Mark Philbrick, was named the 2012 Photographer of the Year by the University Photography Association of America.
This is Philbrick’s 7th Photographer of the Year award and he has won this award more times than any other photographer in UPAA history. He also won a Best of Show award, at the 51st UPAA symposium, for a photograph from a BYU women’s gymnastics meet.
BYU photo won second place in the Multimedia Competition with the BYU Matheletes video produced earlier this year.
