This past week, Tornados have been ripping across several states and taking the lives of many as they move along. Babies have been torn from their parents hands, houses and businesses destroyed, and whole towns have gone under.

Every year, tornado alley gets blasted by storms. Severe weather alerts and sirens are not uncommon sounds for the people living in this part of the country. However, there is always devastation when these storms do make their appearance each year.

Here in Utah, we don’t have to worry too much about tornadoes. However, if we ever find ourselves in that situation, we must know what to do and how to handle it.

First, find the lowest place possible. Make sure and cover your head and get on the ground. Also, stay away from glass and doors as those often get ripped apart and shards can harm you.
