The Middle Ages are coming to BYU.
Knight Games, held Friday from 8-11 p.m., will include chain-mail making, rose dipping, a labyrinth, a masquerade, live theater performances and fighting with padded shields and swords, called boffering.
'Everybody''s got a little bit of itch to go back in time and be a knight, and here''s the place you can do it,' said Brock Josephson, BYUSA''s event leader for Knight Games.
The masquerade, sword fighting and theatrical performances will be held in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom and the labyrinth will be held in the Garden Court. Other activities will be hosted in the Terrace.
In addition to Knight Games, students are invited to practice boffering Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons in the Terrace.
Admission to Knight Games is free for BYU students and their guests. Guests are limited to one per student.
