In order to help fill its holiday toolbox, Habitat for Humanity of Utah County will be sponsoring a traveling toolbox tree at local hardware stores throughout the month.
Ornaments on the tree will have various pictures of building materials and tools that the organization needs in order to build homes for those in need, according to a news release. Participants can choose an ornament and either donate money or buy the item directly. All donations are tax-deductible.
The next toolbox tree will be at BMC West in Orem on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Throughout the holiday season, a toolbox tree will be available at the Habitat ReStore located at 626 N. Freedom Blvd., in Provo.
