Daniel N. Robinson, professor of philosophy from Oxford University, will present a lecture titled “Reasonably Faithful” to students and faculty members Monday from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the HBLL Auditorium.

Professor Robinson, a devout Catholic, will speak on how to be a scholar and a religious person at the same time.

We sometimes face a dilemma when religious faith and scholarship intersect, said James Faulconer, BYU professor of philosophy.

“Robinson is someone who has thought about the question a lot,” Faulconer said. “And he has a lot to say that might help us also think about it.”

The lecture will include a one-hour presentation and a 30-minute question and answer session.
