Even though The Mountain West Conference cannot be seen on Dish Network or DirectTV, it is still possible to view it.
According to Duff Tittle, BYU football''s liaison with the television companies, Comcast Corp. will get you all the channels you need.
'Comcast has all the packages,' Tittle said. 'You can get Versus, CSTV, and even The Mtn.'
Both Comcast Corp. and CSTV offer MountainWest Sports Network, also known as The Mtn., for Mountain West Conference games. So far, the Utah systems broadcasting the games are All West Communications, Bresnan Communications, CentraCom Interactive, Comcast, Provo Cable, Manti Tele Communications Company, MSTAR metro, Saratoga Cable and Spanish Fork Community Network, according to The Mountain West Conference Website, themwc.cstv.com. However, these will not be covering all the games.
'The majority of our stuff is on The Mtn.,' Tittle said.
BYU football has three of their games on Versus, two on CSTV and seven on The Mtn.
If you are still not able to find a channel to watch the Mountain West Conference, The Mtn .has a link on their Web site where it is possible to find a provider to e-mail or call. The web address is themwc.cstv.com/genrel/mtn-call-to-action.html. On that page is also a link to a pdf file where it is possible to see all the networks that will be broadcasting The Mountain West Conference.
According to The Mtn. Web site, 'Distribution decisions are made by viewer demand so every call, e-mail and letter will help.'
If viewers are still unable to watch the football games, they can call their local provider or sign a petition.
