Jackson Charged With Voyeurism, Exploitation

By Julie Espinosa

Former BYU professor Robert B. Jackson was formally charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and voyeurism Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Provo?s 4th District Court.

He is charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, a 2nd degree felony, and two counts of voyeurism, a class-A misdemeanor. He will appear on March 28 before Judge Samuel McVey at 10 a.m.

Jackson, who taught classes in information systems, was arrested Feb. 16, 2006, after Provo police received a tip that Jackson?s laptop contained video of a 14-year-old girl undressing. He resigned the following day after posting bail.
