From the deep furrows of the library, hibernating students are emerging once again to populate the grassy quad. As winter coats are shed, men should remember to leave some styles in their closets this spring.
Picking out warm weather clothing can be easier than it looks. Jeans and a T-shirt can be a simple cure for men who don?t know what to wear.
A basic colored shirt is classier than last season?s slogan tee with a quirky message.
Many girls actually think that slogan tees are stupid, said Elizabeth, a manager at What?s Hot on Center Street. If a guy is trying to look nice, she said they look better wearing a polo shirt.
When purchasing pants, ?A lot of guys around here wear them way, way, way too long. They?re like dragging,? said Adam, a sales associate for Nordstrom in University Mall. ?They should go to the bottom of the shoe, just above the sole.?
?I sell more girl jeans to guys than to girls,? said Elizabeth, a What?s Hot manager. She said that sometimes girl jeans are more fitting and they keep a guy?s pants from falling down to expose their underwear. But, if a guy is bigger or stockier they should not buy girl jeans because they would be too tight, she said.
Fashion savvy young men will stick to the perfect clothes prescription this spring ? a nice T-shirt and jeans that aren?t too short or tight.
