Is anyone else tired of textbooks written by BYU faculty that are riddled with typos, mistakes or are just of inferior quality? Such books are too common here at this school and reflect poorly on our faculty. I cannot think of any other reason why a member of our prestigious faculty would have their name on a book filled with mistakes and typos other then their own economic gain. While the faculty here at the University is outstanding, that does not necessarily mean that they are great at writing text books. Those who choose text books for the various departments should take great care in making sure that students get the best possible learning recourses available, rather than choosing satisfactory books written by friends within the college.
