Every Monday morning, I walk up to campus, excited to get my hands on a copy of The Daily Universe. No, it's not because I have been starved over the weekend for the quality news coverage that the Universe provides. It's the Monday crossword puzzle I crave.
For those of you who don't know, the crossword puzzles get harder as the week goes on, with Monday being the easiest. On a good week, I can complete up through the Wednesday puzzle. Several times throughout the semester, I have been disappointed to open to the last page of the paper, only to find that the Universe has put in the Sunday puzzle instead of the Monday puzzle. While there may be a few people on campus who can complete the Sunday Challenge, I think that the majority of us crossword puzzlers would appreciate it if you could humor those of us with less skill and perhaps wait and replace the Friday puzzle with the Sunday Challenge if you feel it necessary to throw it in there occasionally.
