Elder David B. Haight spoke of his many blessings and the gratitude he feels towards Heavenly Father for the blessings of the gospel, during the Saturday afternoon session of general conference.
?How grateful we should be for the blessings that this gospel of Jesus Christ brings into our hearts and souls,? Elder Haight said.
?It is so easy in life for us to receive blessings, many of them almost unaccounted, and have things happen in our lives that can help change our lives and bring the spirit in our lives, but we may take them for granted,? he said.
Elder Haight encouraged listeners to show gratitude for all that they have been given.
?I would remind all that if we are going to show gratitude than to do it properly to our Heavenly Farther. We would do it with all our hearts might, mind and strength,? Elder Haight said.
In closing Elder Haight also encouraged members to stand with enthusiasm and sustain church leaders, even while standing by the radio.
