Dear Editor,
I am distressed to learn that my ignorance and apathy resulted in the death of Gal Eisenman, a 5 year-old girl who died in Jerusalem on June 19 (see related letter: 'Terrorism is a result of ignorance and apathy,' 25 June).
I had naively assumed that her death resulted from a Islamofascist murderer's detonation of a nail bomb next to her.
Apparently, it was necessary for her to die so the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades could get a message through to me, much like early Americans dumping tea in Boston Harbor.
Everything about Underwood's letter was disgusting.
