Devotional to highlight student service

By Annie Grow

Students, faculty and staff who have changed the BYU community because of their service and Christ-like attributes can be nominated for a Brigham Award.

The award will be announced at the last Devotional of the school year, called the 'unforum,' Tues., April 16.

'The Brigham award is a special opportunity for faculty, staff and students who have done something in their lives which is of value to the BYU community,' said Todd Wheeler, awards director.

Nominations can be submitted through this Fri., March 22, at 3400 WSC or online at brighamawards.byu.edu.

The award will be a bust of Brigham Young, reminiscent of the large Brigham statue on campus.

'The awards are presented to people here at BYU that make BYU what it is, who set BYU apart from the rest of the world,' said Kevin Carter, executive director of campus activities.
