Cafe provides alternative from Cougareat

While the Museum of Art is a great location for those who appreciate artistic beauty and culture, it is also an ideal spot for those who seek the culinary pleasures of life.

The Museum Caf?, located on the second floor of the MOA, was established primarily to provide dining services to patrons of the museum.

The Museum Caf? is packed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily with students and professors gathering for lunch.

Different things draw students from the fast and convenient Cougareat to the restaurant on the edge of campus.

'We have the best food to eat on campus,' said Karrie Couch, 20, a senior from Richland, Wash., majoring in elementary education, who has worked at the Caf? for six months.

The menu, featuring such items as vegetarian foccacia sandwiches and Italian sodas, give the Museum Caf? is definite a step up from a hot dog or granola bar from the Cougar Express.

Shannon Kirch, 18, a freshman from Salt Lake City, majoring in business, said she eats at the Museum Caf? at least once a week.

'The food is definitely better then the CougarEat,' she said.

One drawback many students find is that the Museum Caf? menu is more expensive then other dining-services on campus.

Kara Kimsley, 18, a freshman from New Canan, Conn., majoring in physics, said she would eat at the Museum Caf? more often if it weren''t so expensive.

Many of the students who eat at the Museum Caf? are freshman, and have the benefit of the Dining Plus Card.

Erin Wallace, 18, a freshman from Gilbert, Ariz., majoring in psychology, who works at the Museum Caf?, said they get students on the Dining-Plus program, who load up their trays with food because they have extra money on their cards.

The Museum Caf? is a great place to come for a change from the hurried and fast pace of other dining-services on campus.
