POLICE BEAT

THEFT

A bike was stolen from the Abraham O. Smoot Administration Building July 25. The 12-year-old bike was recovered later that day at the Cannon Center.

THEFT

An allegedly locked bike was stolen from the Deseret Towers W Hall between July 26 and 27. The bike was later returned July 28.

THEFT

An unlocked bike was stolen from the Deseret Towers R Hall between July 26 and 27. The bike was valued at $100.

FALSE INFORMATION

A male student was cited July 30 at 8:30 p.m. for giving false information to a police officer. The officer had stopped the student because he was skateboarding.

TRESPASSING

Five people were arrested July 30 for trespassing in the Deseret Towers pool at 11:45 p.m. Four of those arrested were students and one was a visitor. Those arrested were cited for trespassing and released.
