Road closures may cause extra traffic for students and Christmas shoppers Saturday, Dec. 8.
450 East will be closed from University Parkway to 1430 North, said BYU construction project coordinator Craig Lybbert.
He said the road -- located just west of the Marriott Center -- would be inaccessible to traffic from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The closure will allow for construction workers to tie utility lines that were cut through for the new baseball/ softball complex.
