Three major Republican Party races will head to the June 27 primaries. Merrill Cook will face Derek Smith for the 2nd District House race, Mike Leavitt will be contested by Glen Davis on the GOP ticket for Governor and Mark Shurtleff and Frank Mylar will compete for the office of Attorney General.
Orrin Hatch will face democrat Scott Howell uncontested for the U.S. Senate seat. Chris Cannon will compete against democrat Donald Dunn for the 3rd District House seat.
