Weekend Calender: What's going on March 2-6

Here's a look at what's going on this weekend, March 2-6:

Friday, March 3

The Shakedown will play at Timpanogos Elementary School Gym with The Resistors and the Summer Shorts at 8:30 p.m. Entry cost is $2. 449 N 500 West in Provo.

The Samoa Club will host a free Hip-hop dance from 8 p.m. to midnight in the Knight Mangum Bldg.

MXPX will play at the Fair Park Horitcultural Center in Salt Lake City. For ticket information, call (801) 373-1717.

National Arena Cross Series by Pace Motor Sports will be at the Delta Center through Monday. For information go to www.ticketmaster.com

Actors needed for 'Beyond Karaoke,' a comedy by John Driscoll. Auditions are from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Showtime Studio at 79 South Main Street in Pleasant Grove. They will continue on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. Actors will be paid for rehearsals and performances. For information, call 796-7210 or 785-0949.

Saturday, March 4

Social Argentine Tango lessons with Brooke Burdett continue. For information, call 588-0788 or e-mail Steven at shpayne@netscapenet. There are different classes everyday until March 6.

Monday, March 6

Bender 13, Audio Armada and St. Ryan's Lament will play at the first all Emo show at Wrapsody at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $4 at the door. 117 N. University Ave., Provo.

Dale Warland, internationally acclaimed choral conductor, will perform at Abravanel Hall at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $4 for students. For information call ArtTix at (801) 355-ARTS.
