I have not yet been blessed with a husband and child like Erin Morrison. Reading her article made me so sad. It seems that the phrase 'baby hungry' has a negative connotation. To me, it just shows a person's righteous desire to have an eternal family. If someone finds joy in looking at her baby, then why not share the blessing she has been given and let them look?
I was so upset when I read that she pinches her baby just to have a reason to get out of class. I cannot imagine how anyone could purposefully hurt her innocent child. If she really wants to leave class, then get up and leave. I am sure her baby will appreciate not being pinched, the teacher will appreciate not being interrupted and the students will appreciate not having the distraction.
