Dear Editor:
This letter is in reply to the letter 'Restricting Proportions' found in Thursday's Daily Universe.
First of all, we are not BYU athletic facilities, we are the physical education services division of the Health and Human Performance services department. Second of all, for the most part, we do have the necessary sizes to accommodate just about every student. If you did not get the correct size, it might have possibly been for one of the following reasons:
A. You did not specify which size (May I quote scripture? 'Ask and ye shall receive.').
B. You demanded your clothes as if you were paying for them (a simple 'please' would do).
C. You left us your old jock tangled in your shorts and expected us to separate them.
D. You took your clothes off in front of us before handing them in.
E. You showered with your clothes on and they were dripping wet.
F. You called us dirty names when we told you to shave off that pitiful attempt at a goatee.
G. You set your clothes on the counter with a blank stare on your face, expecting us to either read your mind or guess your size by looking at you.
H. You walked in front of the cage holding the towel you could have been wearing.
Now I know most of you are not in the wrong. We have many wonderful locker room patrons. However, if these behaviors could be avoided in the future and common sense and courtesy put to use, everyone could go home happy.
