Jets perform tonigh

Most BYU students probably remember having a young-love crush about the time the Jets made it big with 'I've got a crush on you.'

Those memories will return to the minds of BYU students when the Jets take the stage in the ELWC ballroom tonight for a 'Rock the Foundation' concert, as an ELWC renovation activity. Doors open at 7:30 and the concert begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the Service Leadership Involvement Center sponsored activity are still available and can be purchased in 354 ELWC until 4 p.m. today and will also be sold at the door. Ticket prices are $5 with student ID and $7 without. A dance will follow the concert at 10:30 p.m.

'We wanted the Jets to come to campus not only for their success on stage and credibility they have established for themselves, but also for their positive influence and their quality of entertainment,' said Steve Wilson, SLIC student director. 'The Jets coming in concert can only compliment the diversity of entertainment offered on the BYU campus.'

Other renovation activities this week included daily renovation trivia questions and plans for a time capsule to be buried April 9. Students can submit capsule suggestions to a booth in the ELWC step-down lounge before and after the concert tonight, or to the suggestion box in the lounge at any time.
