A woman clung to tree branches for at least an hour in rushing water as crews worked to rescue her July 21 in Kansas City, Missouri. Rescuers eventually reached her with a raft and safely brought her to land, where she walked away from the floodwaters with their support. She was evaluated at the scene but declined further treatment or transport to a hospital.
