A synagogue in Jackson, Mississippi, sustained extensive damage, making it out of service for an unknown amount of time, according to an FBI affidavit. The fire, which occurred around 3 a.m. on Saturday, happened at the same synagogue that the Ku Klux Klan bombed in 1967. Investigators said the suspect laughed about the attack, and federal officials claimed the suspect burned the building down due to its Jewish ties.
