An elephant wandered about a mile from Khao Yai National Park in Thailand on Monday, June 2, and caused havoc in a local convenience store after munching off the shelves. The hungry elephant’s name is Plai Biank Lek and is known by locals in the area for entering people’s homes in search of food. Biank Lek stayed for about 10 minutes, managing to scarf down nine bags of sweet crackers, a sandwich and some bananas before the shopkeeper helped to usher him back to the road outside.
